“I have to say that Cody has been a true asset on Council. He is always well prepared and always has a solution to bring to the table. He truly stands behind the residents of Angleton. He has been an advocate for not letting city government get in the way of a resident or a business owner’s dream. He truly cares about how Council spends taxpayer money. No frills or overspending. Just what is needed to reach the greater goal. I see his values in action on Council. He is a great leader.”

Jason Perez
Mayor, City of Angleton

“Cody has an unwavering commitment to the preservation of human life. I have seen this commitment while serving with him on the Board of Directors at the Pregnancy Help Center in Lake Jackson. He is a compassionate leader in a new generation of pro-life workers who will make a positive impact for years to come.”

He is positively impacting students on the Brazosport College campus as well as numerous young adults in our community through Revive. He is truly raising up the leaders of tomorrow who will have strong marriages and make positive contributions to our community for years to come.”

“On May 2, 2016, Cody left information at our home that he was running for City Council. I messaged him on Facebook and asked him why I should vote for him. He replied back with his resume. I said, ‘your resume looks good, however our community needs help and has been let down by other politicians.’ Cody wanted to know the concerns I had about our community. I sent him pictures of flooding after raining for 4 hours, ditches not mowed or dug out, and streets needing to be fixed.

Cody took a ride out in our community during the heavy rain. One street was flooding. He drove his own car into the flood waters and took pictures. Then he made phone calls and sent out emails. This is before he even became a City Councilman.

Shortly after Cody reached out, the grass was mowed, the street fixed, and the City was working on solutions to flooding.

It is not about whether you are a Republican or a Democrat to me. It is about who is the best person for the job and will they help our community.

I kept my word and voted for Councilman Vasut. He is a man with integrity and has the qualifications needed to represent us as our State Representative.”
